The Change Process in Education

bulb-disruption-324x243The implementation process of my proposal for introducing disruptive innovation in the educational system has ignited a positive reaction and will serve my district well in the future. My vision with the support and collaboration of my coworkers is based on a desire to enhance the learning experience of our students to strengthen their analytical skills and utilize technology for blended learning as a medium for academic development. To embrace disruptive innovation I will continue to implement my vision for credit recovery and remediation as well as research additional case studies to target areas where new educational innovations will prove to be effective for our district.

My proposal for blended learning provides new opportunities to reach every student, and provide them with a personalized learning experience tailored to their needs Learning, A. (2016). Students who have not successfully earned required course credits are provided the opportunity to get back on track for graduation with Apex Learning. Remediation will also be available for students with this application. In my blog, you will find all of my recent postings involving disruptive innovation. In my outline you can view the phases of my plan and what I hope to accomplish. My current plan is in favor of  the Flex and A La Cart models. However, the plan is flexible and open to suggestions.

In the beginning stages of developing my proposal, I researched useful case studies and articles considering the recent trends in technology and education. I composed a literature review on Effective Blended Learning and will build on this review as I continue to learn about new developments in education via case studies on innovation in learning.
